How we keep your Account Safe

We use the same SSL encryption system used for bank transactions across the world. Our certificates and server security measures are always up to date to ensure the information you exchange with Dober is kept private and confidential. To better understand how we handle your information, please visit our Privacy Policy.

Additionally we take several in-house security measures to ensure the handling of your information is done in the most secure manner possible with strict access controls and security background checks on all our employees.

Funds

In compliance with regulation, we maintain the contest funds and operating funds separately. This way we always have driver balances on hand for fast and secure withdrawals. If you want to know more about how we handle customer funds, you can find out on our terms and conditions.

Understanding the Rules

It is important that drivers fully read and understand our Rules and Scoring. As a reminder, we will highlight that:

  • Upon contest entry, contests are locked.

Upon completing the entry into a contest, no refunds, changes or editions may be made. It does not matter if a game has not started or if the drivers haven’t played, all contests are final upon entry.

  • Different contests have different rules.

Each contest will always display a fixed cost to enter and a fixed prize for that contest. However, the way the contest works will vary by game type. For example, our Quick Play and Pick ‘Em contests are based on creating competitions related to two or more driver performances. Our Over/Under contests are based on drivers going above or below a set performance. Each game type will have its own scoring rules. Please read these carefully to fully understand the way each contest will work.

  • Taxation for Winners.

Drivers who win $600 or more within a calendar year are required to assist Dober in tax reporting responsibilities. We will require drivers provide information so we can file 1099-MISC forms. For each form, we submit one copy to the driver and one to the IRS. The paying of City/County, State and Federal taxes on any winnings as well as the payment of any penalties, fees and interest from unreported winnings is the sole responsibility of the customer.

Responsible Play Policy

At Dober we want all our users to enjoy our contests within individually set budgets. To ensure a positive user experience, Dober provides a number of options to empower customers:

  • Deposit Limit Increase

Dober limits the total deposit amount that can be made in a calendar month per customer at $1,000.00. Higher limits can be obtained by contacting Dober. Customers who require higher limits will need to fill out certain forms for Dober to evaluate customer eligibility. The criteria shall include: Asset assessment, minimum withdrawal verification and other factors. Limit increases are at the sole discretion of Dober.

  • Self-Imposed Contest Limits

Customers can request limits to be placed on several aspects of contest participation. These can include:

    • Maximum deposit amount – Customers can limit the total maximum deposit amount allowed in a given period. Customers can also establish a maximum single deposit value, so that no deposit is allowed past a certain dollar amount.
    • Contest Entry –With this option, customers can establish a maximum number of contests that can be entered in a given time frame.
    • Maximum contest entry fee – With this option the user can limit participation in contests with an entry fee above a specific dollar value. Additionally customers can limit the total amount spent on entry fees in a specified time period.

The above restrictions can be placed on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis.

  • Self-Exclusion

Customers who wish to temporarily disable their account can do so for any reason via our self-exclusion form. This form allows users to choose a self-exclusion period ranging from 1 month up to 12 months. During this time period the customer will be unable to log in. Additionally, self-excluded drivers will be removed from all marketing communication for the period of self-exclusion. Any open contests will remain active during self-exclusion. Upon completion of all open plays during the self-exclusion time, any pending winnings will be credited to driver balance. Customers can request payment of such balance via customer support.

Customer can also contact our support to request permanent self-exclusion and account closure. Open contests will remain active after the account has been closed. Upon completion of all open plays, any pending winnings will be sent to the customer.
